Water resource scientist and outdoor enthusiast with an interest in climate adaptation & resilience planning and a passion for developing innovative solutions to wicked water problems.As a water resource scientist with the Delaware River Basin Commission, I lead a water audit program within the Delaware River Basin. This program requires 300+ water utilities to submit an audit of their water use every calendar year. Other responsibilities including supporting the DRBC 2060 water study, managing the DRBC database and developing data visualizations in R and GIS to support the work of the commission.I am a graduate of Duke University's Nicholas School of the Environment where I researched racial disparities in water affordability. Through this masters program, I gained experienced in R, Python, geospatial analysis, environmental data analytics, watershed planning & management and climate adaptation planning. I have a bachelors degree in Environmental Science.

    Under the direction of Dr. Steve Tuorto, I researched the efficiency of rain gardens and green roofs to determine if there was an effective metric to measure their efficiency. To understand the efficiency of the Institute's green roof, I designed an experimental procedure to measure water uptake and compiled a report highlighting my recommendations to improve efficiency. Furthermore, I assisted with weekly water quality sampling of 10 sites along Jacobs Creek and Woolsey Brook in Hopewell, NJ. Accomplishments:• Recommendations in final report were used as part of criteria to replant green roof and improve the efficiency• Generated models of water quality at sampled sites, which was used to support the designation of Jacobs Creek as a C1 protected stream
