Over the course of my career, I have developed a passion and talent for distilling the complexities of workplace culture into straightforward People & Culture programs. From making smart hiring choices to inspiring, engaging, and retaining the best of a diversity of talent, these programs are built on the foundation of core values and purpose.My academic background includes a Master's in Dramatic Literature from Utah State University. After grad school, I pursued a profession in the hyper-growth and rapidly innovative Silicon Valley dot-com boom. I honed my talent over the span of the next decade, successfully recruiting some of the most sought-after engineers in a fiercely competitive market. In 2007, I relocated to the Pacific Northwest, and in 2018, I transitioned from tech to the burgeoning and exciting cannabis industry.Since 2020, I have served as head of People & Culture at True Terpenes, supporting the strategic plan with equitable culture initiatives and programs. To scale the culture through dynamic growth, I designed an inclusive, human-centered, and structured approach with programs that support people managers with Leadership Development and integrated talent management. These programs ultimately provide an excellent employee experience and high engagement. 2023 realized the past three years of cultural transformation with recognition and placement in the top 3 "Best Places to Work in Oregon and Southwest Washington" and "America's Top Cannabis Employers." 2024, we were recognized again as a “Best Places to Work in Oregon and SW Washington.”Originally from Birmingham, England, I moved to the US at age 12, making Massachusetts, Utah, California, and now Oregon home.
