ResearcherAvio Nov 2005 - Oct 2009I read up the behavior of clearance of the aeronautics turbine in order to find out a way to optimize them. I work with a thermo-fluid-mechanical application, in order to integrate those several aspects of the turbine. I use a statistical analysis software (Minitab) to find out the significant parameters (i.e. flow path temperature, active clearance control flows, etc) in the behavior of the clearance. I have also an interface role between R&D Department and the Turbine Design Department.
