About Sara Duncan
I am a dynamic researcher, educator, and community partner particularly in the realm of addressing rural air pollution exposures and other environmental health issues at the community level. I've taught in higher-ed at a regional public university since 2019 and while there I developed several courses and training materials, lead and collaborated on community-based environmental health projects for which I successfully acquired external funding, mentored dozens of students at the high school and undergraduate level, and have successfully published in the field. I'm passionate about using my expertise to assess and ultimately address environmental and occupational exposures that plague rural and small-city communities.
