• Perform full geological & geophysical studies in our concession to explore & evaluate where to drill the next well starting from data preparation till the hydrocarbon production.• Evaluate and prioritize new exploration block opportunities in Egypt.• Perform formation evaluation of wells at the end of a drilling phase, recommend perforation intervals, and prepare well targets recommendation reports.• Generate and update all relevant maps.• Build the company’s data inventory.

• Describe rock cuttings circulated out of the well & identify the formation tops.• Make real-time decisions about suspending or continuing drilling, or pick casing, core points, and TD determination.• Compare drilling actual data with proposals made at the exploration stage.• Identify & observe drilling hazards (losses, gains, gases, shale savings, etc.)• Prepare daily reports, updated mud log, & final well reports as well.• Supervise geological operations contractors, witness their operations, and revise their services invoices.
