I started as B.O.H. washing dishes, making coffees and smoothies, and helping to prepare food. I shortly thereafter asked to also work F.O.H., where I took orders and delivered them to the kitchen, waited tables, and helped to keep the F.O.H. in working order and the customers happy (on top of my B.O.H. duties). I was later promoted to F.O.H. manager, with all the previous duties, as well as helping to hire, make schedules, keep inventory and stock levels, and open and close.
