Sara played a pivotal role in helping to plan all aspects of the undergraduate programming for the department of Plant Agriculture, which included course scheduling and timetabling, final grade submission, and the preparation of academic course/program documentation for submission to senate program committees, just to name a few. In each of these roles, Sara took on tasks and completed them in a timely and professional manner, often going above and beyond what was necessary to successfully complete the job. I can recall many instances when she was asked to do something at the last minute, and did so with energy, commitment and usually far above expectations. In her role as the Undergraduate Program Assistant, Sarah distinguished herself and has served the University well.  Sara is a rare individual and there has not been a single occasion where I have not found her helpful, friendly, hardworking, professional and courteous. Her positive personality and her boundless energy earned her the respect of many on this campus. She was both liked and respected by those with whom she worked with. In part, this was because of her exceptional people skills and her great sense of humour, as well as her tendency to roll up her sleeves to get a job done.  It was a pleasure having Sara Firmani involved in OAC, where she has excelled at any task she has undertaken.
