I grew up at Sasaki Associates, an interdisciplinary design firm, watching my dad sketch on trace paper. He was an amazing mentor and committed to listening to his client’s needs, understanding their goals, and providing them with successful roadmaps to move their developments forward. I took a different path and pursued degrees in marketing and communications. Most days I bridge the gap between our technical team and the clients they are seeking to reach—creating stories that highlight the value of VHB’s work and the positive outcomes and impacts in our communities. For the past 25+ years, I have led the development of growth plans for various firms and markets, which include integrated marketing and communications plans to achieve organizational goals.As a Senior Communications Manager, I lead brand-building campaigns that engage key audiences across a variety of channels. I have a strong understanding of market trends and I develop compelling content for whitepapers, press releases, web, video, social media, blog posts, podcasts, and eBooks. I also manage national conferences, roundtables and webinars.
