My recruitment journey started working for a national agency, Reed Accountancy in 1997 where I spent nine years working for the Accountancy Division progressing from Trainee Consultant to Branch Manager. Newcastle went from strength to strength and grew to be the 3rd most successful branch in the UK with 12 staff. I joined KCR Solutions as Senior Recruitment Consultant in 2006, joining forces with my ex Manager, Karen Chomse. I brought with me a wealth of experience and knowledge and have continued to focus on the finance sector. I have an excellent understanding of the recruitment process which has been complimented on many occasions and given me a loyal client base. With over 20 years recruitment experience I offer an honest, friendly and supportive way of working which is welcomed by both clients and candidates. There are many skills you need to succeed in recruitment, you need to be a great communicator and be able to listen so you can understand the needs of your clients and candidates. You need to have the ability to multi-task, show flexibility and offer solutions, all attributes I can offer. You also need to genuinely care, something I pride myself on. After all these years I still have the passion and determination to succeed in this sector and am confident in my ability to add value to any recruitment campaign. Recruitment is a people business and should offer a professional service that is trustworthy. The sector however does have its cynics and at times widely criticised.
