Responsibilities include conducting environmental impact assessments of hydropower projects, solar power projects along with the health and safety management and monitoring plans.As a consultant studying topography, climate conditions and soil characteristics of the proposed hydropower projects as well as submitting a complete report on social, economic and environmental characteristics of the projects and their alternatives along with the cost benefit analysis of the proposed projects and their alternatives.Major projects undertaken include IEE of 2.2 MW Machai HPP; EIA of 545 MW Kaigah HPP; IEE of 11 MW BS Link; EIA of Kaigah-II; and IEE of 30 MW solar PV project in cholistan district Bahawalpur.

Main responsibilities include conducting literature review, research and data analysis to produce research reports, and thematic papers on water and environment. Assisting in developing teaching modules and teaching aid materials on different topics. , developing concept notes, briefing papers and presentations on water conservation, climate change adaptation and various water technology options and representing NEWCON in Projects and meetings in Lahore and surrounding areas.
