Co-author and research consultant for "Her Stories on the Campaign Trail: Analyzing the Mental Health Impacts of Hostility Women Face Pursuing Political Office in California," California Women's List's first of its kind survey-based study on women political candidates’ experiences with hostility on the campaign trail.Director of political nonprofit Close the Gap's research and external strategy, working to promote the organization's impact and mission to reach gender parity in the state legislature.Previous research has compared and analyzed how Republican and Democratic women's leadership training advances gender parity in public office.Elected Student Board Member for the Society for Anthropological Sciences 2017-2020, dissertation work supported by the National Science Foundation, American Anthropological Association, Alice Paul Center and Teece Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, and others.I aim to bridge practice and academia and use anthropological and discourse analysis methods to understand contemporary social movements and develop solutions for issues of inequality.I'm a first-generation college student from the Rust Belt, a former college radio host, a foster cat parent, and a doughnut enthusiast.
