Designed, created, and executed all sustainability events and initiatives across six campuses. Ex: Arbor Day & Earth Day Celebration, Tree Identification Workshop, Pen Recycling Drive, Silent Garden Event ● Managed and operated fundraising and grant writing for Sustainability Department ● Created a one-fold increase of campus green space and sitting areas by increasing overall tree canopy and landscaping coverage ● Established a tree inventory of all campus trees and constructed an Interactive Tree Map ● Managed all environmental-related public relations and outreach to Jefferson & Louisville community ● Coordinated and applied for Tree Campus USA recognition for Jefferson ● Lead meetings, workshops, and presentations strengthening public speaking and communication skills ● Represented Jefferson at various community events/meetings/conferences-spoke for the integrity and interests of the college ● Created the Campus Tree Advisory Committee, Jefferson Tree Care Plan, and the Jefferson Sustainable Grounds, Planting, and Care Plan ● Developed partnerships with OneLessStraw, Healthy Human, Morris Deli, and registered school organizations such as the Art Club, English Club, Phi Theta Kappa, and the HUB ● Auditing and reporting of energy usage, water usage, performance contracts etc.for AASHE’s Stars Report ● Conducted safety audits on safety equipment including but not limited to eye wash stations, fire extinguishers etc.

Gained knowledge of environmental health and safety standards, laboratory equipment, and protocol ● Conducted audits of residential lawns, public parks, and dog parks for nutrient imbalances of nitrogen and phosphorus, thus learning to work with soil probes ● Conducted audits of residential lawns and parks based on amount of sunlight and precipitation, type of grass, and slope gradient ● Used Adobe Photoshop and InDesign to create unique flyers to promote the “No P On My Lawn” program ● Created a step-by-step training for how to implement the “No P On My Lawn” program at other institutions
