About Sarah Abramson

I develop and support innovative out-of-school time learning by creating foundational alliances that bridge, build and connect non-profit programming frameworks to k-12 formal education communities. Working in the education sector, I have over a decade of experience and expertise in informal STEM education and arts programming with: student-centered, project-based learning, program evaluation and observation, reporting, grants and partnership collaboration. I have served roles in program management/project management, grant management, operations and as an informal teacher and coach in STEM, music arts and fitness non-profit organizations. Working with a school or neighborhood community, I engage local STEM stakeholders in industry, education and higher education in the greater Boston area, creating enriching hands-on educational experiences and STEM pathways for urban youth. I am personally motivated by creating these pathways for youth; the goal being for students to become advocates of their own academic and developmental learning journey. I am enthralled by learning models and committed to seeing through that students have hands-on learning opportunities allowing students to think, problem solve and create in brand new ways and to see themselves thriving in a different light with new possibilities.
