My responsibilities include• Creation of monitoring tools to track performance in all areas of capital investment• Production of key performance indicators for capital investment, repairs and maintenance and gas servicing• Managing projects to collate asset information of housing stock, presentable to various audiences• Analysing and manipulating large volumes of data to look at trends and use to programme future work• Working with APEX – stock management database to manage condition of stock and prioritise investment• Creation and development of standard operating processes for management of data from external sources• Development of IT software used to hold all relevant data from various sources in one place

• Have an in depth knowledge of both the Home Connections system and the Northgate Housing Management Information System and an understanding of how these systems interface together • Producing regular varied performance information involving the manipulation of data in spreadsheets to use both for monitoring purposes and for feedback to publish on a website for customers to access. • Analysis of data to deliver it in the appropriate format to varying sources for its purpose. • Problem-solving in order to identify system errors and devise specifications on improvements that needed to be made to both the Home Connections and the Northgate systems. • A full understanding of the system configuration in both these pieces of software and ability to produce solution design documentation.• Integrity of audit and review data and highlight any discrepancies between the two IT system• Identifying any errors within business processes alongside highlighting staff training needs. • Maintenance of the website, including the creation of new pages that highlighted new information with regards to Birmingham Home Choice.• Development of a Business Intelligence Reporting tool including developing the specification documents participating in regular workshops to ensure that the tool was fit for purpose. Creating test plans to carry out full user acceptance testing for this project.

Responsibilities • Configuration of Northgate Housing Management Information System, to assess applications and calculate the correct housing need of the customer, dependent on the questions that are answered in the software. This involved problem solving, logical thinking and devising methods that would meet the needs of the requirements. This was accomplished with the aid of regular solution design meetings where the ideas and changes were documented.• Development of all the business procedures that were required to effectively implement the new system, as well as ensuring that the procedures were followed correctly by staff. Also development of any IT training guides for new functionality• Creation of templates to be auto generated by the Northgate Housing system and these would then be sent to customers at various stages of their application by applying logic and criteria as triggers• Running working groups where the ideas and opinions of staff, working in the relevant fields, were consulted. Facilitating events and producing consultation reports including the analysis of comments and the recommendations, which was used to help devise the business requirements• Development and delivering various training courses as part of the allocations project to over 1000 staff. • Developing a full user acceptance testing programme including test plans and scenarios and triaging errorsI demonstrated good communication skills, both written and verbal, to be able to get the best outcome for all and have a high level of recorded documentation. I built up good working relationships with the supplier and also with staff that would be using the final output as business as usual to ensure that it would meet their needs.
