I was approached by the business for a 12 month project role to complete a full category and brand opportunity analysis in New Zealand and to launch any subsequent new product in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific .Key Achievement:• Successfully launched Green a new natural soft drink: After scoping the potential for this opportunity in the local market as per the project brief, I ran the entire launch process, including managing operational requirements, production trials, a nationwide sampling programme and developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing launch strategy. Co-currently I pulled together a full sales team and liaised with key grocery stakeholders. I achieved all goals and Green is now sold in 150 stores.

After being hired to manage special projects including a market reappraisal, I worked closely with leadership and other key stakeholders to develop a new brand layer. As part of a separate project, I worked with the Farmers Insights team to develop and execute the Autumn Winter campaign.Key Achievements:• Developed a new brand layer across a range of channels: With my team, I worked closely with management and our creative agency to develop a new brand layer “THIS IS FARMERS.” This included launching TVCs, outdoor and magazine advertisements and a full digital and social layer, as well as working with stakeholders at various levels to gain buy-in into the overall idea and concept of creating the bigger brand story.• Created a top-to-tail strategy covering all layers: I took on the role of the Farmers Home Marketing Manager and developed a full 12 month, all-inclusive strategy covering all layers from brand to retail. This included analysing the different paths to purchase and establishing key stakeholders. • Planned and executed a successful seasonal campaign: I used my excellent interpersonal and analytical skills to collaborate with the Insights team and take a deep dive into market trends. This enabled me to develop a strong sales strategy for the Autumn Winter campaign whilst bringing the Merchandise Manager and buyers along on the journey. Reporting to and working with the Global Marketing Director, I was hired to help the company gain traction with the launch of their Berocca energy drink, “Berocca Forward.” Key Achievements:• Conducted a thorough market analysis: I developed a full market, category and customer analysis using the IRI database, customer insights, consumer personality and shopping personalities. From this, I was able to recommend a new strategy which included a category review of a highly saturated but growing market and a full target market analysis and recommendation on how to reach the challenging millennial energy drink consumers market.• Drove a major range extension: I created a new brand strategy and execution plan through all channels including grocery, petrol and convenience stores, and recommended and executed a range extension into bottles as well as a full extension plan across other formats and flavours. This helped me to gain a 3% market share of this highly competitive category over my first 12 months.• Was recognised for my contribution: As a result of a strong digital campaign and an innovative TTL campaign which had not been done before in the pharmaceutical industry, Berocca Forward was awarded the Nicholas Hall Global Digital Award Asia Pacific for 2017.
