The ability of humans to constantly change, evolve and adapt has always been an inspiration to me. I consider myself privileged to have grown up in the past two decades witnessing a myriad of technological milestones. Watching life being made easier with every next innovation, how could I not fall in love? Learning that behind user friendly screens and machines was a complex yet exciting new world to discover. I had to be a part of it. This led me to an instrumentation degree where I got to join this ever turning wheel of technological change. Here I gained skills in translating requirements into a finished product through designing and assembling a magneto-optic device for fast detection of malaria. Armed with basic html/css knowledge, I decided to transfer this skills over to creating web applications and dived deeper learning javascript and python. I am a self-taught full-stack developer who can execute an intricate database design to fit the user’s needs to a tee and translate ui/ux mock-up seamlessly into an identical frontend that is easy to use. I have experience developing apps such as:• Movie App – Utilizing an external API users can browse for movies and add them to a watch-list or watched-list. Implemented using ReactJS, ContextAPI• Social Media App – Users can follow fellow users, post, like and share posts.
