Worked under the Anti-Trafficking Coordinator and assisted in researching and ensuring benefits and resources for clients, assisting in client files and tracking necessary services. Assisted with data base tracking (through TIMS), monthly reporting for both USCRI and OVC grants. Was instrumental in launching a 3-year multi-partner, quarter of a million dollar grant through OVC and maintained trusting and positive relations with other anti-trafficking agencies through personal contact, networking and attending and partaking in coalition meetings, including the Sacramento Rescue and Restore Coalition and the Sacramento Together Coalition. Continued the HOPE Anti-Trafficking Program while there was no Coordinator on staff and through the transition to a now Coordinator. Managed outreach efforts including outreach to health care providers, social service providers and Inter-Governmental Agencies. Produced and executed outreach materials presentations and training on recognizing, preventing and assisting in Human Trafficking. Also assisted in Refugee Resettlement in carrying out core services, assisting with benefits applications, social security applications, case file reviews and general case management.

Lived with and lead approximately 7-9 11-18 years olds each week, mentoring and guiding youth, work with a team to implement programs, oversee and implement adventure and recreation activities, facilitate community and staff development for a non-profit organization. Learned to work with youth in a residential setting, as well as maintaining emotional, relational and spiritual support for youth. Received conflict management, mandated reporting and child development training.
