I assisted pupils with numeracy and literacy activities.Supported individual children under the Protective Behaviors framework as a support strategy for the purposes of Safeguarding and Child Protection.Worked independently with groups of Key Stage 1 children for Phonic sessions on a daily basis. I planned and prepared all activities using the Jolly Phonics framework. Assisted the class teacher's in all the children’s learning activities including Literacy, Numeracy, Physical Education, Topic related activities and Information Communication Technology. I also prepared resources and prepared the classroom according to the class teacher's lesson plans.Designated member of staff for Outdoor Curriculum and Outdoor Learning. I promoted the concepts of Outdoor learning and planned all activities for Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1. I supported the school's Behavior Management policies by using Outdoor Learning as a reward system and to build both social/confidence skills and group/team work amongst pupils. I also promoted communication and listening skills and supported the schools desire to promote healthy living (exercise and activities outside). I took much pride in encouraging the pupils to both appreciate and care for outdoor environments - whilst emphasising important issues such as 'littering' and other current environmental issues.
