I’m currently practicing as a FNP in a rural health clinic in Southeast Michigan where I’ve been for the last 6 years as a primary care provider and more recently in their walk in clinic. In the meantime, I’ve been following my bigger passion as I am currently working towards obtaining my PMHNP certification and licensure which I anticipate completing August 2024. Although I served the rural community as a PCP most of my time as an FNP, during the 2020 pandemic and beyond I found myself managing most of my patients mental health as well. For almost 2 years from 2022-2023 I also worked as a 1099 contractor for Cerebral, an online mental health platform, where I provided initial psychiatric evaluations and psychiatric medication management for GAD, MDD, BPAD2, insomnia, and ADHD.
