Hi there, my name is Sarah and i earned my bachelors degree in nursing at the University of North AL in 2013. I started my nursing career on a MS floor specializing in renal, oncologist and palliative care. I then charged paths and found my dream career in obstetrics in Feb. 2015. I have spent the past 8.5yrs at my current facility. We are a small unit with 6 LDRP rooms and a level 1 nursery. We worked in all the areas of obstetrics; L&D, momma/ baby, nursery and post surgical for gyn surgeries. In 2018 i aquired my RNC in inpatient obstetrics, as well as my CLC. The L&D side of things is my favorite, especially natural labors! Giving specialized, evidence based care is what i strive for. Patient safety for momma and baby is #1, but a very close 2nd is their experience. My career is a passion of mine more than work. I truly love what i do!
