Hand selected to manage and onboard a new, large team of clinical Social Work and Nurse Facilitators to support a high profile care management strategy and documentation system rollout. Built an engaged, skilled, professional and outgoing team of educators from the ground up that have proven success. Continue to maintain facilitation skills leading difficult conversations classes for Humana’s people leaders. Proven excellence in relationship building, associate engagement, and retention. Manage facilitation opportunities for two large lines of business that onboard, train, and continuously support our both clinical and non-clinical care management associates who are member facing. Currently serving as interim project lead for Humana Care Support’s corporate learning initiatives including business relationship support, planning, design and facilitation.

Delivered education to Humana corporate associates including New Hire, Communication Curriculum, Motivational Interviewing, Provider Engagement, MCG, Technology Advancement, Care Planning, Case Management, Utilization Management, Masterful Trainer, and many more. Assisted not only with facilitation, but also curriculum design, planning, and implementation. Provided leadership, mentorship, and support to all Humana associates to impact holistic Member well-being and positive heath outcomes. Evaluates learning effectiveness and makes recommendations for positive change to exceed organizational expectations. Hand selected to lead facilitate Humana’s highest priority care management project in 2020 which ultimately led to a manager promotion.

Plans, coordinates, and conducts all aspects of operational training. Provides leadership and coaches performance of associates as well as conducts evaluations to ensure effectiveness of training programs and makes/recommends modifications as necessary to meet organizational needs.

Provided case management to a roster of up to 200 of Humana’s sickest members. Provided chronic disease management education, medication management education, and a friendly voice and support system on the other side of the phone to those who may not get frequent interaction.

Assisted with implementation of new Hospice Inpatient Center. Served as Charge Nurse providing hands on care to our most fragile patients and supervised other clinician and non clinician staff in the facility. Traveled as an Admissions Nurse to multiple counties to assess and admit patients for hospice services. Advocated for the patients best interest and ensured they had the right level of care, at the right place, with the right services. Supported families going through loss.
