With a background in bookselling and publishing, I’m passionate about the power of stories to transform the way we see the world. For the last 15 years I’ve pursued this passion within the outdoor arts sector, initially as a Founder/Director of Wild Rumpus, where from a woodland creation centre in the north of England we plotted and planned festivals and creative interventions that deepened our connection to nature. More recently as Director of OUTSIDE, Creative People and Places project, I've been working with communities and artists to co-curate projects reflecting life in the rural landscapes, villages and towns of the Staffordshire Moorlands. I'm also on the board of the sector support organisation Outdoor Arts UK and on the Advisory Board for renowned creators of quality outdoor theatre, Pif Paf.I've previously undertaken a Clore Fellowship and am currently undertaking the Senior Fundraising and Philanthropy Fellowship with Cause 4 and Leeds University.
