As an Administrative Assistant with KJ Williams Concrete my job duties vary from preparing weekly production reports to hiring new employees. I am responsible for upkeep of the office files as well as creating working documents to track shipping, work orders, and other points within the company. My role requires me to be flexible and do a variety of tasks to allow the owner to focus on other aspects of the company.

As an assistant innkeeper I work with guests to make reservations and ensure that they are provided with a memorable and relaxing experience during their stay. I work with food restrictions and other preferences to create a customized experience while balancing the daily tasks required to keeping the bed and breakfast operating efficiently. This includes answering phone calls and inquiries in addition to emails, room cleanings, meal preparation and serving, and coordinate evening events.

My role as an Admissions Counselor involved traveling to high schools in the surrounding states to meet with prospective students and inform them about Frostburg State University. I was in control of arranging meetings with high schools and planning all of my travel arrangements. While on campus at Frostburg State University I welcomed potential students and their families and presented information about the admissions process and the university as a whole. My primary role was to help students determine if the university was the right fit for their college experience and help them through the admissions process.

As a Customer Relations Specialist I worked in the Escalation Department and tended to the concerns of passengers via email and phone. I assisted in remedying issues with passengers travel experience and listened to their concerns. My primary role was in deescalating a situation and offer a suitable resolution. I also assisted in creating the team that handled baggage claims with our department - I helped to create a system of working claims to assist passengers with lost and damaged baggage. This position required patience and the ability to multi-task throughout the workday.

As a sales associate at Ann Taylor I was responsible for tending to the specific needs of clients while managing the sales floor. I was in charge of keeping merchandise stocked and keeping the store looking nice as well as working the register and providing assistance in putting together outfits for clients. I was expected to be able to suggest and seek out clothing options for clients that was applicable to the lifestyle of that individual. I also was responsible for paying attention to our sales numbers and being able to react to those numbers in an appropriate fashion in order to boost areas that needed attention.
