Sarah has been practicing law for 25 years and has been providing legal services within the financial industry for 20 years. Sarah is currently a Senior Manager within the Office of Enforcement at the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC).Sarah was formerly a Partner of KPMG China. As a Partner of the Firm's Deal Advisory practice, Sarah supervised the legal aspects of work done by the Deal Advisory teams. This included the provision of Corporate Finance/M & A support, regulatory advice, litigation support, advising on transaction structures and mitigating counter-party debt risk.Sarah routinely managed international commercial negotiations, litigation and arbitration. She played a key management role for the Lehman Brothers International Cross-Border Insolvency Protocol, designed to facilitate cross-border agreements and to limit expensive and time-consuming legal proceedings.Sarah supported the KPMG Restructuring and Corporate Finance teams to successfully restructure a number of high profile internationally listed, Chinese businesses.Whilst with Lehman Brothers/Nomura, Sarah held a number of senior roles including Asia Chair - New Products Committee, Asia Chair - Transaction Approval Committee, Asia Investment Committee, and Corporate Counsel - Asia.
