I conduct legal research for the General Counsel of the Pistons concerning pertinent legal issues facing the sports industry and how to shield the organization from liability

• Review and analyze previous partnership contracts and activation agreements with individual teams to ensure all rights and exclusivities are honored and align with adidas Global Basketball strategy• Coordinate with NBA team and league representatives concerning adidas NBA playoff activation • Plan negotiations with team representatives to renew contracts and to secure additional rights for adidas

• Organize and execute game day promotions through collaboration with fellow interns, the video control room, master of ceremonies, and grounds crew members• Promote Mud Hens and Walleye sponsors through on-field/on-ice contests, in-venue giveaways, and POS and POP displays that comply with the instructions of the sponsors• Create memorable game-day experiences for an average of 7,000-9,000 fans each game, by assisting with mascot autographs and pictures, interacting with kids and families upon entry into the stadium, and coordinating in-the-stands entertainment• Coordinate special event activities for themed games by working with special guests and marketing directors. Examples of special events include "May the Fourth be With You," a Star Wars themed night, Kids Day, and “Pink in the Rink”

• Assist student athletes in the successful completion of University of Michigan undergraduate courses including Sport Management and Spanish courses. • Facilitate learning by teaching effective note taking and study skills appropriate for students’ classes• Prepare study guides and practice exams before sessions to ensure efficient use of time

I completed 50 hours of Lifeguard, First Aid and AED certification training in order to become a certified lifeguard and to effectively respond to emergency situations. I contributed to the safety and cleanliness of the pool to ensure the satisfaction of members and their guests. As head lifeguard in 2011 I was entrusted with further responsibilities including, but not limited to, coordinating work schedules, organizing memorial day and labor day activities, and assisting swim coaches during home swim meets.

I worked for six years as a Water Ballet coach at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, Ohio. I helped orchestrate the performances of over 80 girls, ranging in ages from five to seventeen, in five Waterballet shows. I choreographed over 30 pieces including on deck and in the water routines, and I worked closely and communicated effectively with parents and fellow coaches to ensure the success of each show.

• Provide necessary assistance to the class instructor in the form of grading papers, exams, and in-class presentations and mitigating extensive email traffic from 50 students • Prepare a lecture pertaining to the correct and strategic use of Powerpoint in order to enhance a professional presentation• Dedicate time during office hours to give specialized and individual attention to students

I was one of three managers for the Michigan men's soccer team and was involved in coordinating game day operations including apparel sales and the supervising of honorary captains for the day during their "behind the scenes" interactions with players and coaches. I also communicated with student groups on campus in order to increase game attendance at home soccer games. During the game I made myself available for any miscellaneous tasks that needed immediate attention.
