I am ambitious and easygoing, and I am eager to learn. I will apply to my school’s five-year BA/MA program for anthropology with a focus in archaeology. During the upcoming academic year I hope to gain experience in museum studies and curation, or utilize the cataloguing skills I learned while working in Mexico during the Spring 2016 semester.

  I have worked with Brian Jones, the CT State Archaeologist, seasonally since May 2015. While working with Dr. Jones, I have had the opportunity to expand my field skills and gain experience with museum and laboratory work. Museum and lab work has included the management and organization of the Louis Bayer Collection at the CT Museum of Natural History, organization of human remains in preparation of return to native tribes in accordance with NAGPRA, and creating an inventory of artifacts.
