I have over 12 years of experience teaching and researching in the field of biomechanics. Currently, I work as an Associate Professor, and Chair of Access & Belonging in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. I am involved in teaching and mentoring students in the areas of Biomechanics, Research Methods & Scientific Communication. I also consult with industry partners providing expertise on clinical gait applications and sport injury.I have also worked within various elite sport settings in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States, designing and implementing bespoke lab and field assessments to provide insight on performance or injury.Competencies: teaching, research, scientific communication, biomechanical data collection & analysis, Programming:HTML/Matlab/R.

This research will explore possible factors that may be involved in placing females at and increased risk of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury.
