As Managing Attorney for the National Bankruptcy Litigation Group, Sarah was responsible for the business operations of her department which was operated as a stand alone business unit. Sarah was successful at maintaining a large profit margin while operating with minimal staff and overhead. Sarah was responsible for managing compliance as it related to the mortgage servicing industry and maintaining documentation related to such on a national basis. Sarah also managed accounts receivable and collections for the group as well. Sarah was also responsible for all contested and litigated matters as they related to bankruptcy practice, including but not limited to, Adversary Proceedings, Discovery, and Motions for Sanctions on a national basis. Sarah and her team coordinated with clients and a network of counsel firms across the country to provide a wide range of support services.Sarah joined McCalla Raymer in 2007 after leaving the non-profit organization of Atlanta’s Habitat for Humanity where she acted as in-house counsel developing, implementing, and managing a default and bankruptcy program for their mortgage loan portfolio. Sarah also handled many real estate matters regarding land acquisition, zoning and environmental issues. Sarah is licensed in Georgia, Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois and has been practicing in the fields of Bankruptcy and Foreclosure for 11 years.Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts from Emory University in Atlanta, GA and her Juris Doctor from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, IL. Sarah is an avid music enthusiast and artist and resides in Johns Creek with her husband Daniel.
