Organising events for the Keighley parish including the Christmas Light Switch On and Remembrance Sunday. Led and organised the 2022 Platinium Jubilee Beacon Celebration. Organised the county wide celebration of Yorkshire Day 2022 which saw over 200 civic dignitaries and guests visit Keighley for a day of celebrations and dinners. Leading on all marketing campaigns, social media, annual reports and press releases. Managing the council’s website. Producing graphics, print and video for the council.

In my role, I work closely with the community and fundraising team to raise funds for LJWB. I assist third party fundraisers in raising money for us through marathons, bake sales, golf days, coffee mornings etc. I have introduced a Skydive and a Yorkshire Three Peaks Walk to encourage a different route of fundraising and to appeal to a difference audience. I look after all In Memory donations and our Tree of Life as well as any In Celebration donations from birthdays and anniversaries. I work closely with the Fundraising Committee and other volunteers to explore new avenues of Fundraising.

As Community Fundraiser at Overgate Hospice, I worked closely with individuals and groups across Calderdale, assisting them in fundraising for Overgate, raising awareness of the Hospice and it's work. I also created new community campaigns to engage schools, community groups and individuals to raise funds for the Hospice.

As Development Administrator, I provided administrative and general support to the Development team. I corresponded with supporters and dealt with donations on a daily basis. I worked with the database Spektrix to manage donor relationships. I produced papers and minutes for several internal and external meetings, including the Opera North Future Fund. I have event management experience; managing dinners and receptions attended by Opera North supporters. In July 2016 I event managed the closing celebration dinner for the Ring Fellowship which was held at Windsor Castle. As part of my role, I assisted on creating and running fundraising campaigns to generate income for Individual Giving. I worked with the Trusts Manager to produce reports to be submitted to various Trusts and Foundations. I also researched new Trusts to engage with. I also produced prospect profiles to engage new individual donors.

Serving customers tickets and other products, cash handling, promoting Square Chapel, answering any queries from customers over the phone and in person. Producing financial reports.
