Responsible for training of all staff within the company relating to industry guidelines such as OFT guidance, CSA code of practice, Lending Code, as well as general collections and legal practice relating to debt collection. Quality checking and monitoring staff is a key part of my role. Responsibilities include complaint and dispute management, agent and service provider management, due diligence work, legal referral assessments, liaison with advice bureaux, management of Scottish litigation referrals and consideration - having knowledge of the process, and ensuring up to date compliance with all guidance and legislation relating to debt collection.

Experience in a variety of collections roles including Mortgage Shortfall Collections / Consumer personal loan collections / credit card collections / Mortgage arrears collections pre-possession up to possession stage. Also dealing with disputed legal cases. Responsibilities included staff training , complaint management, client relationship management, invoicing.
