I serve with an open mind and expansive heart. After receiving my Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Cruz, I spent four great years working at Whole Foods Market, both in Santa Cruz and then later in Roseville. I connected with the company's mission to support their local communities and the environment through responsible business practices. While receiving unparalleled training in customer service, I also developed my personal leadership and training skills. As the store's Green Mission Specialist I organized engaging store-wide trainings on proper waste procedure and even organized Earth Day events that incorporated the community into the celebration. I later became a Cashier Trainer and was responsible in part for training the department on brand-new cash register operating systems. In my current role as an independent Brand Ambassador I have cultivated many skills that help me succeed. Organizational, communication, and time-management skills are essential in this industry and I continue to further my mastery of them. I am also incredibly flexible and adaptable, as my work schedule can change quite suddenly and I need to respond efficiently. On a personal level, I am a genuinely kind person. I am frequently told this by friends and strangers, and I'm very proud to posses this quality so visibly.
