Consulted on innovative additive designs for customers, including those in healthcare, automotive, motorsports, and fashion.Typical projects included: facilitating training for new customers on additive capabilities, helping select potential additive applications with the customer’s unique requirements in mind, performing preliminary design and requirement trades, CAD modeling, ANSYS structural analysis and fatigue and life assessments, support structure optimization, prototyping, testing, iteration, and part cost estimates; in addition to reporting schedules and budgets to the customer and maintaining profitability.Gained proficiency in best practices for designing and printing in modalities including direct metal laser sintering, electron beam melting, direct metal and sand binder jet, selective laser sintering, fused deposition modeling, and more.Featured several links below from a project I was a part of to design 5 additive pieces for the 2019 Met Gala with designer Zac Posen and Protolabs.

Rotational program which cultivates leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. I developed the ability to adapt quickly to new organizations and responsibilities and add value within a short period over the course of three year-long rotations. I also earned my Master's degree during this program through a mix of part-time coursework and a sabbatical in Fall 2016.

3rd rotational position in Edison Engineering Development ProgramAs the technical focal on an airline Customer Service Agreement, I communicated fleet technical issues quickly and effectively to the customer, and developed a fleet strategy to address those issues.I collaborated with a global team of engine overhaul shops to scope customer engine work prior to induction, and to analyze fleet and engine data to tailor the level of work appropriately. I also led a weekly operating rhythm with technical and commercial focals to drive a data analytics strategy for the engine product line.

2nd rotational position in Edison Engineering Development ProgramDesigned, tested, documented and implemented manufacturing processes for innovative polymer matrix composite hardware for commercial aviation in low-rate production. Improved processes with hands-on lab testing, machine programming, technician training and interaction. I joined this FastWorks manufacturing lab 6 months prior to the target build date for a new resin transfer molded stator, and successfully delivered the engine set three days ahead of schedule.Led TOPS8D investigation to improve producibility and first-time-yield of metal-polymer bonding process.

1st rotational position in Edison Engineering Development ProgramLed the design, testing, and production plans for metal and elastomer commercial aviation hardware, including support brackets and vibration isolators for critical AVI and hydraulic assemblies, and aero surfaces in the engine bypass for the LEAP 1A/1B engine program.I worked TOPS8D, cost-out, weight-out, and fire test certification projects, and coordinated with systems and test engineers, finance, sourcing, and suppliers to drive program success. As part of those improvement projects, I designed and implemented vibration lab and fire testing plans.
