Interpret and monitor electrocardiograms and discuss rhythm type with providers and medical sales representatives.Provide direct technical care to patients and perform variety of semi-complex treatments including caring for tracheotomy tubes, incisions, decubitus care, draining wounds and suture care.Perform complex procedure such as assisting with patient education, splinting, stocking crash cart, phlebotomy, performing EKGs, assisting with oxygen placement, and educating patients on use of incentive spirometry and monitoring compliance performance.Take and document patient vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, oxygen saturation, and blood pressure. Assist patients with personal hygiene activities and dietary needs.Perform exercise and gait as directed by Physical Therapist and/or Registered Nurse.

Organize and lead review sessions three to five times a week.Sessions can hold up to 150 students enrolled in BISC 206/207 (Anatomy and Physiology). Meet weekly with faculty to share session plans, obtain feedback, build rapport, and share resources.
