Completing a 16-week long Research Internship funded by NSERC. Will be looking at the mechanism of VAPB protein, which is involved in a form of familial ALS.

Create a weekly study group for the Calculus for the Life Sciences I and II courses. Plan dynamic activities related to the Calculus course. Teach effective study techniques. Facilitate group work. Offer mentorship.

Work independently to create short videos (PodCasts) to explain the step-by-step solution to a variety of example questions for the Principles of Chemistry course, a 1st year university course. Solve, creating a solution, and make a short video of myself writing out and explaining each step of the solution for each problem.

A 2 month long Research Internship with the aim of exploring the various aspects of research. I assisted on the “Breaking the boundaries of brain plasticity: Positive plasticity across the hand-face border” research project. I learned different Behavioural Science Research Techniques, such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and data analysis. I also learned about the process of developing a research project, conducting an experiment, and submitting a paper to be published.

Scanning patient files into an electronic medical record system. Create and program eForms. Software installation. Data entry. Patient profile updating.

Prepare dynamic swimming lessons. Lead a mixed group of children aged 3 to 12 years. Teach skills to keep the students when they are in and around the water. Ensure their safety during the swimming lessons. Write progress reports and final evaluations.
