Headline Talent Coordinator for the Opening and Closing Olympic and Paralympic Ceremonies 2012

London Feis Festival, a 25,000 capacity music festival, took place in Finsbury Park, London on 18/19 June 2011. My role in the festival was a senior role that encompassed many responsibilities; from booking the 60+ performers to coordinating the marketing strategy and working closely with production on artist and site requirements:• Talent Booker - booked all artists and programmed each of the three stages. Acts included Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, The Cranberries, Christy Moore, The Gaslight Anthem, The Waterboys, Jimmy Cliff, Shane MacGowan & many more.• Pre event preparation - running schedules, efficient communication with relevant teams, budget management, artist negotiation etc.• Marketing - overall budget management, liaising with PR, ticketing and sponsorship departments.• Advertising - Responsible for coordinating and executing the festival advertising plan across print, online, TV and radio.• Production - collating artist riders, fulfilling artist technical requirements, stage management, artist liaison.• On site - staff briefing, stage management, VIP/guest hospitality, artist payments...everything and anything!

Booker/Promoter at the 1940s supper club 'The Pigalle Club'. Responsible for the programming, marketing and overall promotion of the venue. During my time there I brought acts such as Boy George, Beth Orton, Martha Wainwright, Solange Knowles, Naturally 7, Andy Mackay and many more to the venue.

Assisted with the coordination of the Irish leg of international music tours for acts such as Bruce Springsteen, Dolly Parton, Neil Young, Jay-Z, Tom Waits and others.• Advertising/Marketing - Assisted with campaigns for big cost shows like those above. This involved securing media sponsors, negotiating ad rates whilst working within a strict budget.• Production - assisted with backstage set-up, artist and staff accreditation processes and learned about the overall production involved in staging a large scale music event.• Artist liaison/Stage Manager - 4-day Carlsberg Comedy Carnival, Dublin.

• Safety & security officer - I was an SIA badge holder at this time.• Press Area Supervisor- I dealt with some of the most high profile figures in the sporting, entertainment and media world.• PA - Match day assistant to Manchester United team Press Officer.
