I am a registered nurse and creative entrepreneur with a double bachelor’s of science in Human Biology and Nursing. On my nursing journey, I was a charge nurse at a skilled nursing facility in Orinda where I developed time management and leadership skills. Shortly after, I became a neurology nurse at an LTAC facility in Marin called Kentfield Hospital. There, I was able to polish my assessment skills, work closely with other disciplines and frequently interact with doctors, fellow staff and family members of my patients during a difficult pandemic. I then became a vaccination nurse, helping Curative vaccinate Marin county and the SF Bay Area as a whole. Thereafter, I was hired as a dialysis nurse through the Davita Network where I developed skills within this nursing specialty and strengthened my ability to work independently as a nurse responsible for over 30 patients. Due to the long-term care of these patients over time, I was able to not only build rapport and trust with my patients, but also make a direct and lasting impact on their overall physical health and health knowledge. From there, I continued my journey as a Medical-Surgical RN at Kaiser Richmond and Kaiser OC-Anaheim in the midst of re-launching my own creative brand alongside my co-founder and business partner. Now, as I continue my journey into management as an Infection Preventionist, I look forward to more opportunities to grow and create more professional connections.
