This role supports the Business Change Workstream within the overall delivery phase of a wider project, focusing on the transition of business change and ensuring the effective management of business readiness activities. This includes; process/procedure creation, training needs analysis, identification of residual analysis, stakeholder mapping, communications, user acceptance testing, planning and risk reporting including that on business as usual activities and key performance indicators, all whilst working alongside subject matter experts or members of the project team such as Project Sponsors, Programme and Project Managers, Business Leads, HR, IT, Communications and front line staff to ensure the business change is planned and delivered effectively and on time. The role is responsible for ensuring that the changes made are understood, accepted and embedded correctly within the business areas impacted with minimal disruption to business as usual, acting as the link between the business and the project.

• Advise coach and support employees and management with HR related queries including; consultations and redundancy, recruitment, performance, conduct, absence management, settlement agreements, health and wellbeing, grievances and TUPE. • Support senior managers in decision making processes offering a measured and considered approach, compliant with employment law.• Project management in HR related projects such as; reviewing and updating our current Exit Questionnaire procedure, review of HR business tools and alignment of all current and new Relief Workers compliant with legislation.• Reviewing HR policies and the implementation of new policies and ensuring they are compliant with legislation and agreed with our recognised Trade Union.

• Embedding and delivering employee training interventions• Guidance and support to managers on all HR matters via email, phone and face to face• Development of standard operation procedures • Disciplinary and complaints investigations • Sickness review meetings• Collaboration with Trade Unions• Management and creation of HR policies

• Supervision of five Resourcing Officers and a Resourcing Assistant• Ensuring provision of an efficient, high quality and customer focus led service• Responsibility of Medical Staffing recruitment• Providing guidance, influence and judgement in complex resourcing situations• Lead on Trust wide projects• Supporting the implementation of Values Based Recruitment

• Providing friendly and professional first line service to staff and third parties• Maintaining an up to date filing system • Liaising with shared service in relation to pay, maternity and contract changes• Recruitment of staff from administrative roles to staff nurses and medical staff• Adhering to guidelines from NHS Safer Employment checks
