Full-time, remote position dedicated to the editing, planning, and ideation of online resources to help Move.org readers make informed choices about their moving experiences.-Onboarded and managed 5 freelancers; oversaw 3 in-house writers: created focused briefs in Airtable, instilled positive team atmosphere, and provided deep edits and craft feedback aimed at growth.-Zoom video interviewed customers on experiences with moving companies, identifying content opportunities and industry gaps while impacting site ranking criteria in real time. -Collaborated with and/or consistently communicated on Slack and in email between sales, design, engineering, accounts payable, PR, and editorial teams. -Overhauled data, rewrote, and used WordPress to update two of site’s highest traffic pieces, resulting in 102,000 sessions and 113,400 page views (88% organic traffic).-Managed and wrote geo pages for 50 states and over 200 cities.

-Edited two writers focused on connecting readers to moving services.-Analyzed articles in MarketMuse and made SEO adjustments to optimize articles.-Monitored article commentary in DISQUS and engaged with readers to foster brand trust. -Managed and compiled monthly email lists in Constant Contact for moving grant program applicants, growing readership. -Managed and regularly updated site’s Google photo library, style guides, article templates, and industry terminology.

-Collaborated with clients on content plans for 20 catering companies or venues to secure quality leads and achieve brand exposure online, tailoring over 300 blog posts, video scripts, and other marketing deliverables. -Created SEO-optimized, branded web copy for 10 websites. -Contributed articles to industry publications, like Catersource magazine. -Provided site visits to strengthen relationships with clients.

Full-time position focused on writing engaging, lead-driven marketing content for companies in the catering and events industry.

Oversaw editorial production of two flagship magazines (PHC News and Plumbing Engineer) for engineer and contractor audiences within HVAC and plumbing industries. -PHC News Magazine 47,000 print and digital subscribers. -Plumbing Engineer 25,000 print and digital subscribers.-Website received 16,300 weekly sessions.• Pushed for climate focus; solicited and onboarded writer for sustainable technology column.• Led Flint, Michigan water crisis coverage and organized volunteer efforts.• Helped with transition from print publication to digital publication, managing new CMS.• Grew magazine relationships and readership by networking at and providing social media coverage for major industry events.• Provided layout design for The Wholesaler magazine using Adobe InDesign.• Managed Twitter and Facebook social media accounts and created posts showcasing events and news.

Temporary position involving content development for Triton’s marketing plan and communication materialsI wrote and edited marketing materials for wide range of communication including press releases newsletters, feature articles, email and digital media. I also attended and documented student, faculty, and administrative events. Finally, I conducted phone and onsite interviews for stories and established affinity with students, alumni, and other members of Triton community.
