Producing for the main channel involved creating and updating content for live broadcast on the Sky News main channel.Duties include building news bulletins, writing stories, monitoring sources for breaking news, liaising with reporters for live crosses, sourcing vision and grabs, and formatting packages for broadcast.I was also required to write straps and supers, monitor press conferences, edit packages, cut vision to be used throughout the bulletin and arrange interviews.I resigned in July 2015 to spend six months travelling though Europe and returned as a casual in February 2016.

Producing on the digital desk involves maintaining the Sky News Australia website, multiview channels and ticker. Duties include sourcing stories for the website from wires or rewriting stories from other sources, reformatting stories for web and including pictures and video content sourced from either Sky News Australia or its affiliates. I am also required to produce video updates for the website and multiview channels, refresh the multiview channels with new content and update the ticker.On the weekend I produce the Prime NZ bulletin for the Sky News main desk.From May I also produced the Your Money Your Call program on Sky News Business two days a week and line produced Business Night and Business Agenda.

As a recipient of a 2012 Australia-Korea Foundation Fellowship I was afforded the opportunity to spend a month in South Korea working in the English language radio station TBSeFM.In my position I produced the program's summer book series while assisting the production team in writing and sourcing talent for other segments.I took a pivotal role in updating and maintaining the programs social media presence by live tweeting throughout the program and completely remodelling their Facebook page.During my time at TBSeFM I produced a radio feature on bars in the Hongdae area which had adopted a "no foreigners" policy.I have continued my involvement with the station by contributing a news story to their Globetrotting segment approximately once every three weeks.

Following the completion of my production internship I was offered a casual position in the creative department. My duties here included selecting and ingesting media for promotional material, compiling material to be sent to Foxtel and generally assisting the creative department.I resigned from my position in order to undertake a semester of university on exchange at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
