Sarah is a high calibre Procurement and Supply Chain Executive with extensive consulting and procurement transformation experience at a senior level. Sarah has been working in the field of Procurement and Supply Chain for over 19 years, which from a tenure perspective has been split across direct industry (as a Group Sourcing Manager) and consulting based experiences. Sarah has global experience of working across Public and Private sector clients identifying and delivering benefits as part of full Procurement Transformation. This has included being the Acting Director of Supply Chain responsible for the design, build and operation of the Supply Chain function within the management function of the new NHS Supply Chain organisation. In her current role Sarah is critical to the delivery of Tesco's Procurement Transformation - leading the delivery of Save to Invest for Procurement, leading on Procurement Strategy, governance, capability development, SRM and Sustainability. In her time at Tesco Sarah has, in addition to her main role, also covered resource gaps in the leadership team. She has covered the Head of Group Sourcing at various times for the Retail, Customer, Technology and Property teams and is the current formal delegate for the CPO.Sarah has a track record of identifying and delivering procurement savings both from her industry and consulting experiences. Sarah has seen savings through from point of identification through to delivery against the bottom line.
