I am an Associate Attorney at Lewis Brisbois, where my practice focuses in medical malpractice defense. I graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law with a certificate in Health Law in May, 2017. I successfully passed the Illinois Bar Exam and was admitted to practice law in Illinois in November, 2017. Throughout my time at Loyola University Chicago School of Law I have developed strong writing and research skills through my legal writing class that specifically addressed issues in health law like Illinois informed consent doctrine, the Illinois Good Samaritan Statute, as well as the Health Care Quality Improvement Act. I have also been involved in the Health Law Society where I have attended events with topics ranging from the implication of the Affordable Care Act to discussions on Bioethics. I have delved even deeper into the field of health law by pursing a certificate in Health Law and by taking the following classes: Introduction to Health Law, Health Care Business and Finance, Mental Health Law, Access to Health Care, Health Care Litigation and Medical Malpractice, Health Care Compliance, and Health Justice Policy. I have also been a member of the Annals of Health Law Journal of Health Law and Policy where my article titled "Power to the People: How Medical Mobile Apps Are Increasing Patient Knowledge and Changing the Doctor Patient Relationship,” was published. I am also an executive editor of the Journal of Regulatory Compliance.
