As a research assistant at the Bates Social Development lab I collect, observe, and analyze data, code videos, and attend home visits in order to discover trends and make connections that are potentially meaningful to the social development of toddlers.

I assisted up to 25 children at a time ages 6-11 in completing their homework in a timely fashion to encourage the formation of valuable time management skills. I also organized other tutors and their study groups to alleviate pressure on the director of after school care.

At the White River Ballet Company, I instructed children ages 2 to 15 in the classical art of ballet to impart discipline and patience. I also coached toddlers on how to complete basic tumbling skills, providing encouragement and support as they learned in order to craft an inviting and challenging environment.
