MOTIONrehab based in Leeds is the UK’s first Intensive Outpatient & Residential* Neurological Rehabilitation Facility augmented by Robotics and Virtual Reality. The centre includes a range of upper and lower limb robotics and virtual reality technology. The MOTIONrehab centre is the only location within UK with all of these particular devices, giving the clinic International Reference Centre Status for treatment, teaching and research.The new concept offers patients specialist one to one hands-on therapy from experienced and highly skilled clinicians. Sarah Daniel has been working in the field of Neurological Physiotherapy for 13 years and is the Clinical Director of PhysioFunction in Yorkshire and Humberside. She manages the PhysioFunction Team across the region and is the clinical lead. PhysioFunction provides Specialist Neurological Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Technology to promote independence for individuals with Neurological injury,illness and disease.PhysioFunction is currently the only independent provider of all FES devices (surface and implanted) in the UK. Our aim is to maximise independence with a 'hands on when we are with you and technology when we are not' approach.Sarah graduated with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of London in 2001 and subsequently gained her Masters Degree in Neurological Physiotherapy in 2005. She has a wealth of experience in treating a wide variety of neurological conditions with a particular interest in acquired brain injury. She uses a number of treatment approaches to achieve success. Sarah is an advanced Saebo-flex and FES clinician, using FES and electrical stimulation devices in her treatment.In addition to her clinical work Sarah teaches post graduate courses and lectures at a national level.Sarah is an expert witness in her field and provides case reports for Solicitors, Case Managers, and other health professionals on neurological rehabilitation and other healthcare and social needs. Her medicolegal instruction is approximately 70% claimant, 20% defendant and 10% joint.
