work with students in math classrooms to improve their note-taking, study skills and guide individual and small groups of students during independent work time. After school I assist students with their assignments, study skills and test prep in a drop in tutoring center.

For second semester of 2019-2020 school year, I took over teaching Algebra 1 and Modified Algebra (Special Education). Changed the classroom culture by organizing, decorating and moving some furniture to create a more inviting and inclusive environment. Focused the first week on establishing positive classroom expectations and routines.Collaborated weekly with colleagues in both the math and special education department.Mid-March shifted to online learning platform. Utilizing Google Classroom as the main communication site to deliver weekly lessons. Used Google Meet to video record lessons, and to provide tutorials with small group or individual students.
