Work collaboratively across campus departments and divisions to ensure policies and procedures are being followed in relation to employment and supervision practices. Directly supervise professional and paraprofessional staff members, including professional Master's level Residence Directors, as well as paraprofessional staff including: Resident Assistants, Housing Services Coordinators, Information Desk Staff, as well as Camp and Conference Summer Staff. Serve in an on-call 24/7 duty response team to support students in crisis, as well as facility concerns, after hours. Supervise and manage all summer operations for UMD Housing from reservation creation, to room assignments, to staffing, to post-stay survey. Organize and implement conference services to internal and external camp and conference groups, ranging in age from pre-teens to older adults, ensuring a high quality experience while visiting and staying at UMD. Oversee Grandma's Marathon conference housing for thousands of runners and spectators who visit UMD annually for the world-renowned marathon race. Plan, implement and manage the day-to-day UMD Summer Senior Program, which houses hundreds of short-term renters annually.
