In Shared Services department, I supported Legal Operations, Depositor Services, Collateral, Item Processing and Mail Services, and Quality. In this role, I was a key contributor to resolving open customer remediations and implementing process improvements to prevent future issues. Additionally, I maintained a backlog of system defects and worked with outside vendors to resolve open items. Lastly, I created and published monthly metrics and ad hoc reporting for business partners as needed.
My first role outside of the Leadership Program was in Capital Markets Operations as a Business Analyst, specifically supporting Foreign Exchange and Interest Rate Derivatives. One of my primary functions in this role was to oversee our Swap Data Repository (SDR) reporting, ensuring that all trade messages were sent during the required timeframes and consisted of accurate data and valid values. The DTCC Re-Architecture was an industry-wide change to SDR reporting, in which I created over 200 test scripts and completed all testing to meet the regulatory requirements.
My fourth and final rotation was with the Intelligent Automation team, which utilizes Kofax/KTA and Pega Robotics systems to automate data entry, file movement, and other tasks. I was responsible for pinpointing potential automation opportunities at our offshore facility for Operations, as well as evaluating processes within a different LOB. In this 3-month time frame, I documented the end-to-end processes in Brokerage Operations and readied them for the Automation Pipeline, to the point of being "Prioritized for Automation."
Throughout this nine month rotation, I managed a team of 12-17 phone agents that service our Premier Commercial clients. I executed on daily administrative and managerial tasks, such as reviewing time cards, submitting schedule changes, and tracking attendance, as well as leadership duties like coaching to metrics, building career development plans and giving performance reviews. I implemented new projects to benefit the team and department as a whole, e.g. auditing escalations and supervisor calls, revamping the Engagement Committee, implementing monthly agent round-table discussions, and more.
My second rotation in the Leadership Program was in Service Optimization, Back Office Quality as a Project Manager. During my six months in this space, I was tasked with balancing several projects and ensuring that each one kept to a strict timeline by removing road blocks or finding alternative solutions to concerns. In order to be successful, I quickly learned the seven areas within Central Operations that the Quality team analyzed and reviewed and then collaborated with each area to roll out these transformative Bank projects.
I participated in a 2-year rotational Leadership Program, in which I received exposure into four different operational departments at the Bank. I completed my first rotation in Investment Operations and Trade Services as a Business Analyst on-boarding a new software system that provides IT support and automation for the clearing and settlement of mutual fund transactions. In six months time, I trained the processing team on the new platform, Delta Data, and worked to create procedures that would be sustainable and maintained once I moved on to my second rotation.
University Of Dayton
I oversaw 70 residents and acted as an approachable liason between students and administration. I was a mandatory reporter of code violations and attempted to ensure the safety of all students in residential and academic areas. I facilitated meetings and planned programs for my residents to attend that encourage safe practices and personal growth and development. I was a resource to my residents and was viewed as a reliable role model for them.
Louisville, Kentucky Area
2014: I collaborated with a team in the Maps and Records Department to complete a 3 month project involving the physical reconstruction of maps and making them available electronically. I learned to operate office equipment and locate resources, as well as manage conflict within a team setting. I reported to my supervisor regularly with updates on the project.2015: I worked on assignments within a computer software program, SmallWorld, in the Maps and Records Department. I received training on the program and was expected to complete assignments in a timely manner and report to my supervisor when completed to receive new tasks.
