I am a PhD student and a consultant engaging with sustainability assessment tools (LCA, S-LCA, LCC, CF, CFO, WF) and Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) approaches. For my PhD, I am focusing on Planetary Boundaries based LCA, to operationalize the shift from a comparative to an absolute impact assessment perspective for SSbD novel entities. I also work on European Horizon projects to develop strategies to improve the sustainability of advanced materials in their design phase. I studied thorouly the Social sustainability assessment in a life cycle perspective, to try and start to include in sustainability discourse all its dimensions.
