Strategic thinker, workflow improver, and team enthusiast looking to use my skills to save time and eradicate inefficiencies for an organization building up farmers and a healthy food system. Would love to connect!Ever since I discovered the wonders of single-cellular life, I realized that even a one-celled bacterium needs a whole community to thrive. I soon gravitated toward the needs of human systems, focusing on my passion for food and sustainability. Ever since my time leading a county-wide food distribution program, I’ve been hooked on the joys of project management and process improvements. To deepen my understanding, I pursued a Master’s in Sustainability Management specializing in food systems at the University of Colorado Boulder. For my capstone project, I researched, analyzed, and wrote recommendations for the City of Boulder to achieve its food waste goals. While researching, I also collaborated with the Boulder County Food Waste Committee and local organizations to manage and execute a county-wide awareness campaign. Today, I wear many hats as Program Officer for ICLEI USA, a consulting non-profit that builds local governments’ capacity to tackle climate change, establish resilience, and foster holistic sustainability. I use my analytical approach combined with creativity to research and develop internal process and workflow improvements. I connect people, improve collaboration, simplify and synthesize messaging, and craft data visualizations and presentations. My specialties include quickly learning new skills, instituting change, problem-solving, asking the right questions, analyzing trends, collaborating, increasing team effectiveness, designing, improving processes, identifying issues, developing solutions, mapping systems, and working creatively and independently.
