I am responsible for the Pharmaceutical service that the Care Homes receive from Boots in Jersey. As well as ensuring the correct medication is sent to the homes on time, clinically checking prescriptions and offering sound pharmaceutical advice when required, this role includes; Pharmacist advice visits to each home twice a year, organising the bills and accounts for charged items and additional services such as oxygen. I have also trained as a Macmillan Pharmacist and I like to get actively involved in fundraising events.
