Hi, I'm a writer by trade and a digital publisher. I love words and storytelling, the essence of every good brand. I'm head of my digital media company, Bali Food and Travels, promoting the best food and travel experiences across Bali and Indonesia. I began my career as a young journalist and developed a passion for telling stories. I've covered news, music, human interest and current affairs but when I arrived in Bali to edit a travel magazine, I found a home and a new focus. As a passionate home cook and baker, no holiday is complete without good food. I built a food page, Balifood, and contribute to international and local publications including The Yak magazine and Conde Nast Traveller. Being a native English speaker sets you up in Indonesia but I have always enjoyed the craft of writing and still love to tell stories, whether it's for a business website or simply writing captions, the art is in finding a fresh way to tell the story, to engage educate, entertain and evoke an emotional response.
